Celebrate 45 years of Star Wars with HEPL and Ignite! We are hosting a Virtual Fan Art Contest for all things Star Wars. A selection of enthusiastic staff will choose a winner based on the following guidelines:
- Must be related to Star Wars property with minimal canon divergence
- Must be appropriate for all ages
- HEPL cannot accept traced/plagiarized artwork
And there will be a fan-favorite vote on Facebook as well!
Everyone aged 13 and up is encouraged to show us your interpretation of your favorite characters or scenes. HEPL staff are welcome to submit artwork, but are ineligible for the juried awards.
Submission guidelines
Submit the following information and documents to Sydney at brinks@hepl.lib.in.us.
- PNGs or JPEGs of up to 3 pieces of work
- A title or character name for each piece
- Material/media
All forms of media are accepted, but please note that this show is virtual only.
Deadline to submit is April 5th. Pieces will be publicly posted to Facebook for popular voting on May 1st. Winners will be announced May 5th at our virtual reception at 6:30pm.

Artwork will be displayed virtually in an album on the HEPL Facebook page. Visit our page to see past albums for “Menagerie,” “Wanderlust,” and “Shades of Summer.”
